Aunt Shirley’s Lasagna

Well, we had made Great Aunt Shirley’s lasagna a little while ago for a family gathering. We had to go out and get a full size steam pan / chafing pan (about 21”x13”x 4”). It was ridiculously big and heavy (with ten pounds of meat and about 5 pounds of cheese... we aren’t counting the weight of the sauce or noodles)!  But it was well enjoyed. We even had the neighbors over for some, but we barely made it through a third. Well, we got it out again today to put it in a smaller pans and freeze what we could, so I took some pictures to tell y’all about it. We left the edges, because when we tried to reheat it, we burnt the edges. But other than that a complete half pan was filled and put in the freezer. It was still very heavy.
I mean, look at those layers!!
